The Manfrotto 500 Aluminium MDeVe Video System combines Manfrotto's excellent 755XB MDeVe tripod with the flat-based variant of the 500 Pro Fluid Video Head.The 755XB is designed with professional use in mind, and is extremely versatile. The all-aluminium design features a removable centre column, bubble spirit level and 50mm levelling ball. The design is ideally suited to MiniDV and HDV cameras.The Manfrotto 500 Pro Fluid Video Head is a lightweight head with a large platform base and a side lock system allowing the camera and sliding QR (Quick Release) plate to click quickly into the head from above, instead of needing to be aligned and slid in from the back. The 500 has a pre-set counterbalance of 2.4kg, but is able to support equipment of up to 5kg.
