Gitzo GT0542 Mountaineer Series 0 Carbon eXact Tripod

The Gitzo GT0542 is the most compact and lightweight Mountaineer tripod to sit in the carbon fibre Mountaineer Series 0 range. The Gitzo GT0542 will accept a maximum load of 8,000g, extend to a maximum height of 137cm (with centre column extended), retract to a minimum height of 14cm, and close down to an extremely portable size of 48cm. The Gitzo GT0542 is a 4 leg section tripod with 40% larger lowest leg section (diameter 11.7mm), new design and carbon fibre tubes, making it lighter in weight yet more rigid than its predecessor (GT0541).
