The Gorenje IT65KR Induction Hob designed by Karim Rashid is an ultra modern design that will bring a unique and contemporary style to you home. Not only sleek and stylish, this electric-powered appliance will deliver perfect cooking results every time, with an easy-clean surface, the ability to heat up rapidly and precisely control temperature. Karim Rashid is a Canadian-American industrial designer, his designs include luxury goods, furniture, lighting, surface design, brand identity and packaging. His objects are critically acclaimed as sensual and pure and his designs are famous for their natural soft lines and attention to detail. His work is globally recognised, as it speaks a universal language of beauty. Karim has collaborated with Gorenje to produce an ultra stylish induction hob, technologically perfect, this hob will turn even the most challenging culinary endeavour into a playful creative process. Smart features, innovative functions, and a user-friendly design make everything possible! Induction hobs heat up twice as fast as gas cookers, which makes them comparatively more economical and safe. An induction hob only heats the bottom of the pan while the remaining hob surface stays cool and always safe to touch. Temperature is adjusted instantly, by a simple touch, limiting the danger of boiling over. Total control The hob comes complete with a countdown timer that can be set for up to 99 minutes. The timer switches off automatically when the cycle is complete and a beep signals that the food is ready. Cooking Options If you're anxious for your dinner after a long day, the PowerBoost Supreme function will slash cooking time. With ramped-up heat intensity, you'll boil 2L of water in a little over four minutes, making your process rapid. Childlock The childlock option is excellent for those who have young children at home, as this function prevents them from resetting any parameters. Please note: If you have a heart pacemaker, do seek advice from your doctor before using an induction hob. Please also only use pans suitable for induction hobs. These include enamelled steel, iron, stainless steel (depending on the alloy) and some aluminium pans with a ferromagnetic base. Glass and copper bases are unsuitable. Please note: there should be a minimum height clearance of 65cm between an electric hob and the cooker hood above it.... More
