The 125x zoom of the P1000 expands your horizons in bridge camera photography. Shoot sharp stills and 4K resolution movies at telephoto range. And sharing your work is easy with built-in Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. Extraordinary Zoom Boasting an enormous 125x optical zoom, you can capture photos and videos of subjects normally beyond reach. Shoot moonscapes, far-off wildlife and distant horizons, with a focal-length range of 24-3000mm. Sharp Shooting A bright f/2.8-8 NIKKOR lens, coupled with a 16MP CMOS sensor, gets you sharp results, even in low light. Shoot at 7 frames-per-second with fast autofocus, and save your files in uncompressed format with RAW support. Vibration Reduction counteracts camera-shake, to keep your images crisp, even at telephoto zoom. 4K UHD Movies Record the moving image at high zoom. The P1000 captures 4K UHD (30p) resolution footage, or Full HD 1080p (60p) resolution. Create stunning Timelapse and Superlapse movies, and the mic input lets you record stereo sound. Bluetooth & Wi-Fi Sharing Share your shots with ease with built-in Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. Nikon's Snapbridge app (available on iOS and Android) keeps your smart device connected via Bluetooth so it syncs pictures as you shoot. Record the GPS location, and control the zoom and shutter remotely from the phone or tablet. Smooth Control A large grip and positioned controls are designed for smooth and simple zoom control. The Snap-back Zoom button retracts the lens to a wider angle to relocate your subject. And at just 1.4kg the P1000 is around a quarter of the weight of a regular SLR camera with super-telephoto lens attached. Vari-Angle Screen or Viewfinder Choose to line up the shot via viewfinder or rear screen. The high definition EVF gives a clear view, even in bright conditions, and the bright LCD monitor adjusts to any angle for dynamic and hard-to-reach perspectives. Creative Modes A host of creative modes optimise settings relative to the subject. Moon mode maximises astronomical imaging and Bird-watching mode is designed for fast-moving wildlife. Bulb and Time Shooting modes are built for night photography, and you can overlay up to three shots with Multiple Exposure. Cases Take care of your new camera with one of our cases.
