Although weighing in at only 680g, the precision engineered Arca Swiss Monoball Z1+ SP (Single Pan) with Quickset Classic can support a load of up to 60kg. The single knob Quickset operation makes locating and secure setting of the plate (which is available separately) quick and easy.Please note: the safety-stop feature of the Wimberley plates do not work with the new "double decker" Arca Swiss quick release clamps on the Z1 head. The Wimberley plates can still be used, but users must ensure that the clamp itself is sufficiently tight as the safety pins in the end of the Wimberley plate will not prevent it from slipping out.

The Arca Swiss Z-series revisits their popular B-series, introducing even more elegance and class. The size and weight of the ball heads have been significantly reduced and the ball and fastening are now assembled using a patented bayonet mount. In addition to the proven and patented Arca-Swiss features, including aspherical ball heads, axial clamping and PMF (progressive motion related friction control), the Z-Series also boasts new technical developments, in the shape of optimised materials and coatings. Arca-Swiss heads come complete with a 3 year warranty.
